window/ door mods

I am rebuilding my doors... and the rest of my blazer for that matter. However, i am looking at my different options for blazer doors and windows.... i was wondering if anyone has switched to the one piece glass?

was wanting to see pictures of the finished project... also what about power windows anyone got pics of their setup and what the door looks like with these. I like the original look and found a couple cool ideas but i would like to see what you guys have done... maybe this will turn into a good thread.... so post em up and lets see what you got!

Re: window/ door mods

I've seen a couple of board members with power windows. If I were to go that route, I'd run the switches that use the window cranks but you just push it up or down to activate the power windows (I've only seen them in the magazine ads).

Re: window/ door mods

The last guy I know of that did the one piece window was Pont. He said it worked, but there were some mods that had to be done to the door retainer for clearance. Other thing to worry about on a Blazer is the fact that there's no top to help strengthen the window frame.
