Got a new toy last night...
You guys might remeber this one for sale a while back, I picked it up from HartRod and he stored it for me in New Mexico until I could get it here! I was traveling so much with work and all last year it sat out there until now but I am glad it's finally here!
Thanks again to Rob, he is a great guy to deal with! |

Re: Got a new toy last night...
Not too long, one of the easiest mods I have ever been a part of.... plus someone else on the board did a write up on it a while back.
I ended up using the same ones Rob used, Strong Arm lift supports #4220. Picked them up at Advanced Auto Parts, I may swap them out later, these work great but I would'nt mind a couple more inches of lift out of them. Works good though, the hatch will basically raise itself now plus the lift supports look alot cleaner than the old style links. |

Re: Got a new toy last night...
No problem....
You know, I am glad I picked up a burb! I remember when I got my first 67-72 pickup and a friend of mine who does bodywork was working on a 72 burb and I never paid "that" much attention to it because I was just not into burbs. But... over the years I have seen some very sweet burbs and they got my wheels turning as to how cool one can be. I can thank a few of you board members for this as well.... here are a couple pics of the ones that really got me wanting a big boned ride! Last edited by Number98; 04-20-2009 at 10:09 PM. |
