Cargo Light Wiring Assistance Needed

I am in the midst of reinstalling my cargo light on my 72 and can't remember the wiring to it. Does someone have some pics that would help me out?

Along the same line, anyone know of a Third Brake Light conversion that I could get to install instead of the cargo light? IS there any after market third brake light conversion kits out there?

Greatly Appreciated

Re: Cargo Light Wiring Assistance Needed

I know it is different but I swap wires on mine and run the white wire to ground with a solid connection from the orange. That way I can turn on the cargo lamp without turning on the dome light. I know it is a little re-wiring, but you don't get the glare of the dome light off the back glass and you can actually see in the bed. Just different.

Hey KellerMAC....ttt="to the top" we also use "bump"....it brings your thread back "to the top" so others see it so you get answers to your question...I don't like seeing ZERO replies to questions

BTW (by the way)....I want to you to the truck boards from NC.....lots of great info and members like LockDoc and Skip to help out with your questions.....

Let me know if I can help you out around here!!!

Re: Cargo Light Wiring Assistance Needed

I'm not trying to Highjack this Thread, but I had some,
input re: Interior Dome Lights.
I had the Shop install the new Dome Light offered by LMC.
It is a Chrome Base with a Special "Diffuser Lens" and an LED light.
I can't believe how much brighter that light is, then stock.
It does cast out a Bluish Florecent type of color, but money well spent.
