Th400
I am trying to connect back my tranny but cant remember if it had wiring.
It is a th400 connected to a 84 5.7L. I have the two lines that go to the bottom of my radiator. I have a vacuum hose connected to the carborator. I have the shift linkage connected to the steering column. Am I missing anything other than the speedo cable? If yes, are there any diagrams you could point me to? Thanks folks! G

Re: Th400
There's an electric hook up for the kickdown on the driver side of the tranny, this should be connected to a switch at the carb.

Re: Th400
Some T400 equipped vehicles had the kickdown switch factory mounted inside the cab on the accelerator bracket. I ran this setup for years. It has been a very long time but I believe the electrical plug in was on the drivers side of the tranny, single wire.
