Big Block Silverado owner here

Hey kids, new member here. I've owned about 12 of these trucks since I turned 16, and I'm about to turn 27. Had them all from a '74 2wd longbox to a '88 4wd SWB. The ones I have now are listed in the sig. I'm an Army mechanic by trade and am currently stationed in Iraq with the Tennessee Army National Guard. My most recent purchase is my Grandpa's '79 Silverado you can see all about in my sig. I'll get started on it as soon as I get back to the states. It's my first BBC. Just needs paint, grandpa did all the body work. The 81 was my dad's truck that I traded for, for a debt. I've had it since right after high school. Just looking to get with a group of guys like I have on the Impala SS Forum to see what others are doing and help out the hobby. You'll see me most in the 73-87 section but I've worked on them all, 40-42, 46 to brand new, so I'll occasionally stray away. Think that about sums it up.

and from SGTHohensee ... No doubt you are a Chevy man! As said it is always good to see trucks passed down in the family. Glad to have you on board and keep the pictures coming as we love pictures.
