Restoration ???

I am looking for someway to get a brake booster to look like it did from the factory with the gold anodizing. I have a fairly new booster. Does anybody know a place to get that anodized look or someone that sells a new/rebuilt one with that look. I know the factory had two different companies where one booster was black and one was the gold anodized. I want the gold one because it shows attention to detail................Thanks, Jason

The reason escapes me but when you go to the parts store there is a difference between them and they still have them either way. maybe rebuilt and new?

Re: Restoration ???

Boosters are plated. Its like a zinc dicromate <sp> Eastwood's kit simulates the finish with a series of spray cans. I forget the real name for the plating process. We sell the delco moraine boosters with the finish. There are alot of shops that restore your existing ones, in the usa. The picture is
not a truck but we sell the 11" Delco black and the gold.
