if you have a lot of fab skills, and lots of used parts, and don't care about how it looks and rides...you can do it on the super cheap. but cheap ani't quality, and quality ain't cheap

I am sure you can buy air ride kits for the $600-$700 range, but that's the cheap part, unless you are fabbing and welding, the frame notch, wheel tubs alone are going to run you just as much, then you have relocation brackets for shocks, adjustable panhardbar, drop spindles, and on and on and on. If you want a reasonable ride height, drop a few bucks do a static drop and call it a day, if you want to slam it, slam your wallet down and do it right, budget minimum $2,000 to do it properly. Just my $.02

Just how LOW are we talking? I C-notched my frame and I wish I went lower.
A step notch will slam the ass end to the ground, but be prepared to weld and fabricate if you want to do it cheaply.
My thread on the air ride build might help you:

Re: 1971 c10 air ride😎

Well here is what I found out durning my years of "bagging" all sorts of rods and trucks. I've always told myself that I'm going to do this on the cheap. And I buy or fab up parts keeping that in mind. Going with homebuilt notches and plates. Manual valves, 1/4 line, cheap gauges. Then the inevitable always happens and I want better, better for myself and better for my vehicle I've spent so much time with. And I end up purchasing updated technology, electric valves, bigger lines, digital gauges. Also I end up 4 linking and welding in the correct notches and bag brackets. So I usually end up in the long run spending more $$ then I should have. But I've learned so much doing all this the wrong way first. Lol. Buy the good stuff to begin with, because you're going to want It in the months to come after you finish your suspension the cheap route. Start with buying the electric valves components and airbags first. Then the metal components(notches, link bars, bag brackets). If you got the fab skills and tools, go for it. If not find a reputable shop in you area and be prepared to spend a lot of $ in labor
