pitman arm help....
can someone tell me what is physically different between pitman arms for a 1972 2wd with power steering and without. I need to know if i have the correct one and i don't have the box anymore.

Just looking at the pics I cannot tell the difference. Could be the diameter of the pinion shaft or spline count I guess.

The sector shaft is larger on a power gear box.

The pitman arms are the same length yes, but like clinebarger pointed out, the splined hole that fits onto the sector shaft of the steering box is larger on the power steering pitman arm.
Basically, if your pitman arm will slide onto the splined shaft of your steering box, it's the right one.
