Bumpstop removal?
HOW IN THE HECK DO I GET THESE SUCKERS OFF MY '80 C10?
They are really beginning to be a PITA. Ive tried torching them, sawing them with the sawzawl and I havent found a big enough crowbar to pry them. Any advise? |

chizel and a BFH, use it after you grind ALL of the heads off, then drive it between the frame and the bumpstop bracket.

I used my Acytelene Torch, and I hit the heads of the rivets and got them RED HOT, then I had my friend hit the bracket with a hammer..came RIGHT off, perfectly left just the holes that the rivets were in. It's like they were PROFESSIONALY removed

yea if you cut the back of the rivet heads off flush with the frame with a torch you should be able to hit the bumpstop off.
