vin question

i have looked at the vin decoder but how can i tell if i have a cst or not, thanks for any help

I don't think you can tell if it's a CST by the VIN. Open the glove box door and the production option list should be on the back side. (if nobody's tampered with it or repainted it) My 71 has option code Z84 as CST.

if the SPID is missing from the glove box door, then a good look at the trim and pieces on it may tell you.
I assume we are talking about the 68 in your avatar?

yes its my avatar, i was told by the guy i purchased it from that it was but i couldnt find a way to verify wether it actually was or not. not that it really matters all that much but one of those things i would just like to be certain on

If you were to dig around in the FAQ part of the site, I wrote up what all came in a 68 CST. Its been a few years ago, but i know its in there.
