quick quetion about a drop

I am planning of buying a drop for my 69 lwb pretty soon, i wanted to do a 3/5 or a 2/4. i plan on running 20" wheels. I was wanting to know what is your opinion on 3" front drop springs? i think i remember some people saying that they are hard to align, or something like that. i would love to do a disc/drop spindle conversion, but im on a pretty tight budget as of now. if i was to go with the 3/5, i wanted to do the ECE rear kit, and CPP front springs. if i was to go with a 2/4 i would just do the kit from ECE. so what is your opinion on the 3" drop springs? any help is appreciated.

It's all personal opinion, but for me, I decided to stay away from the 3" springs. I went with ECE's 4.5/6" kit; excellent parts and service.

Re: quick quetion about a drop

well, i really really want to do the spindle conversion, but i just cant afford it right now. if everything goes good, i plan on doing the conversion within a year or two. but for now just doing a simple coil drop.

Re: quick quetion about a drop

allout... trust me, it took me a few years before I could drop my truck with the kit from ECE. Either save a little back each month, or watch the parts board as there's always someone parting out their project or funding something else.

Best of luck on the project!
