Tire selection.

My 73,74,79, mid 80's C now K20 is now ready for tires. I have it narrowed to 2 different brands, and I am waiting to see which pricing. I probably drive 5000 miles a year so they will rot before the the tread is gone.

Pirelli scorpion atr are my first choice if the price is right. I can find these for about $620 delivered online. So I wonder what I will get them for as they are already cheap enough.

The other is patagonia's an off brand, but it seems to have good reviews. If these come stupid cheap then these maybe the ones so I can use money on other things I need.

Both tires come in 285/75/16 which what I want. I am not looking at other brands as I can get hooked up with pricing on these.

Does anyone have experience with patagonia's? Are they decent enough for Southern California winter weather.
