I am having a little trouble finding out how far this pillar patch comes down in comparison to the brace in the pic. Do these holes line up exactly? I know some of you guys have done this allready. Any help is much appreciated.

I am just finishing mine, I recommend you buy the part that welds to the pillar patch contact wes at heartbeat hes only one i know of who has it , in regards to holes lining up in repair panels to origanal I have no luck doing it that way so far but its not completed either so we shall see

I still have a few more panels to buy but I was trying to get started w/ what I have. What makes it so hard is there is nothing left in this area to give me a reference point except the small brace. Maybe someone could take a measurement from a reference point down to the bottom of the pillar patch?

VT- I was thinking of using the top bolt for the rocker box support as a reference point. I will try to post a pic. Thanks for your help.

your local nut and bolt should have the square nuts they are cheeep. as for the referance I went to home depot and bought a tool that wood workers use to find molding shapes. just use the outside bed panel for referance transfer that to paper.

I think there may be some confusion

. I am installing a new lower b-pillar extention. This area was completly rusted away so I was looking for a reference point to get me close to where the original was. I thought someone could measure from the top bolt down to the bottom of the pillar extention. The only problem is you would almost have to be in the middle of this repair to provide this info.If the floor is already in place,this measurement could be taken from the bolt to the floor and then from the floor to the bottom of the pillar extention. Sorry for the confusion and thanks again for any help!

I would use the body crease on the lower fender as a reference, this will set the elevation
