Re: Custom GM Truck 12 bolt Covers

e bay has a huge varity for sale, If you get a chrome one though, you might want to scuff the underside of the cover where the gasket seats to give better adhesion of the silicone and a better seal

Nice product.....

I would deffinatley spend a little more and get one with a fill and drain. Pain in the butt to remove the diff cover every time you change fluid.

Serious factory design flaw imho..

Re: Custom GM Truck 12 bolt Covers

The TA_1811 is nice... but complete overkill unless you're drag racing. It has the reinforcement cast in for the bearing caps to put preload on them...

160 bucks for a cover is a lot... A decent chrome one or repaint the stock one works great.

That finned aluminum is cool... prolly a little spendy... but ;looks good.

We sell them for $144.50 but they are special order for us. We don't stock them

We have the 1811 in stock for $144.00 it is a bit of overkill

I would rather spend the extra $100 and not have to deal with breaking the seal and chancing a leak the next time I installed the cover. I imagine you could find a cheaper version with a drian plug??
