coating

has anyone ever had a set of headers or a set of manifolds coated with ceramic or jet hot coating,wanting to no your opinion what one is the best

we tried the ceramic stuff from eastmans with no luck. could have sprayed silver paint and they would have looked better. then we bought some ceramic spray paint from oreilys and it worked great. but we followed the instructions to the letter. you have to season them in an old oven. if you do that they will turn out awesome.

my intake, water neck and headers are all coated in ceramic by Astectic finishers in Piqua Ohio
Worth every dime I spent on it.
its 2-3 years old and still looks new
Tons easier to keep clean than raw materials

The header's on Big Orange were ceramic coated by www.jethot.com also I had a set of headers done by then that I ran on my racecar back in 2006.
Best money I spent, well pleased w product and it lasts...........
