How long are your trips?
Just wondering how long some of your guys' average trips are in your trucks...I'm sure some of them are gonna be about from the lift to the other side of the garage for now, LOL...but lately mine have averaged (yes, averaged) over 100mi...basically, if I'm driving, chances are it's from Phoenix to Tucson or vice versa. With the exception of this weekend, which was...
*Tucson to Phoenix *Phoenix to Flagstaff *Flagstaff to Sunset Crater *Sunset Crater to Flagstaff *Flagstaff to Forest Highlands *Forest Highlands to Flagstaff *Flagstaff to Sunset Crater *Sunset Crater to Flagstaff *Flagstaff to Forest Highlands *Forest Highlands to Phoenix *Phoenix to Tucson Lotsa driving and camping and fun this weekend. Basically, about 600mi between Thursday night and tonight.

typically just around town, and once in a while to work. About once a month about 600 miles running to Nebraska and back. Defintely need to rebuild my tired 350 and drop a 700r4 in though.

Right now mostly just around the local area. I hope that will change. Seems to run well enough to take me anywhere reliably.

Looks like I'm with the majority. I drive it to work, 16 miles one way, except for the summer when I'm on my bike (except this summer, d@mn 4 carbs anyway). It goes to the dump, or to one of three home improvement stores, on the weekends. Haulin' stuff for friends who don't have a truck. Off road once in a while when I have the time (which hasn't been lately).

I drove my old burb out to see Fast 68 and pick up some parts, this last spring. It was a little over 800 miles round trip. The old girl got about 16 MPG on the high way doing 70-75 sometimes. It used about 2 Qts. of oil during the trip there and back. I really don't think that's so bad for vechile with over 200,000 miles on it. This last summer I did a bunch of furniture restoration for a couple in southern Ohio, made 3 trips in two weeks time, about 300 miles each time.

My trips are short......but the fall is long(also hurts like h$ll when I land!) I dont run much more that 1000-1500 mi per yr on the old longhorn, just fair weather. The longest trips would be about 150 mi......its time to gas up after that!
