Have brand new ECE mounting hardware and rubber. Will get it on and pics taken later this week and will bump this thread.

Looks great!!!!

It does make alot of difference. i put a newer burb bar on mine, a little beefyer. I'm not driving around like a bobble head any more.

Your pictures are very timely for the problem I have. I just purchase a CCP front sway bar kit and it came with front hardware and a rear bar. what a time I had tring to get them to admit it was wrong. Your pictures let me know I was right.

looks good Chris!!! On the Upper frame bracket, the rear part of it mounts into the hole where there is a rivet holding on the front frame crossmember

I am using a OEM 72 swaybar with the ECE bushings/mounts. when you installed did you install the bushings with the zirk fitting on the frame, or on the LCA.

I hadn't decided yet, cause it isn't installed yet.

Im guessing the frame ones get more motion, so I would think there.

Yea, i called ECE because i mounted mine on the frame and was curious. They said to mount the ones with the zirk fitting on the frame.

So does the sway bar only help w/the side to side travel or does it help eliminate the bouncy bouncy crap like when you're going through an intersection w/a dip?

Never delt w/sway bars, so this is a learning experience for me. And also, it'll help me know what I need to add in the near future.

A sway bar stops your truck leaning over so much when you corner. If you're getting a bouncy ride then you probably need new shock absorbers/dampers or your springs may also be tired.

Chris, you get your sway bar installed?

we got ours installed last night there is alot of tension on that bar , we had a heck of a time but its installed.

my camera batteries are charging but i will post up a pic shortly.

Is your truck lowered? My truck is stock height. The bar installed easily.
