cab and bed swap?

undefinedundefined
i have a 75 shortbed half ton stepside cab and bed and want to mount onto an 85 shortbed half ton frame. is this a problem? which donuts do i use? the ones for the 75 or 85? it looks as though there are short extensions bolted to both sides of the front of the frame. i suppose these are for the newer front clip? this frame has v 6 mounts i will have to change. also a 2 piece trans crossmember. will i need to change this for the t350 trans?

I can provide some help, the body mounts need to match the chassis. The difference is in the size of the whole in the chassis mounted bracket. You should have frame mounted brackets for the front clip on both frames.
