would this fit

Like my sig says, I've got a 85 1/2 ton 2WD. The rear gear ratio is 2.73 and I want to change it for a 3.23. I located a complete rear with the 3.23 but its out of a 3/4 ton 4WD and maybe a 6 lug wheel (i haven't seen it yet). would this whole thing fit in my truck??

The axle will bolt up, but it will have 8 lug wheels.

Those items (yoke and axles) can be changed to fit your truck. I put a 12 bolt posi 3/4 ton axle under a truck and we changed the axles to five bolt and the yoke to align with my 1/2 ton. All parts were in the local salvage yard, but the new stuff is available at a reasonable price. If I was going to make a change I would go for a little deeper ratio, at least a 3.42 and possibly a 3.73 to get some low end torgue. I like to be able to pull hard and get a good launch in acceleration.

I believe he is looking for a bolt in application though. BTW, 3/4T trucks never used a 12bolt, they were 14bolts.
