Why so I get that message when trying to attach pictures from the browser? I used the lowest quaility setting on my carmera. Stll to big. How do I fix this so I can post pictures from my hard drive straight to the topic????

It all depends on the resulution, colors per pixel, absolute size of the image, and file type. Try to stick with the lowest color setting possible, and crop your pics with paint, photo editor, or photoshop, or something else. Don't try to manage your images through your camera. Usually they're set up to give you the MAX resolution (best picture) and are hard to scale down to something more simple. Get the image as a file, and then start managing it...

yes, you do want the resolution set a 72. Generally a picture that is 400 pixels x 400 will be less than a 100k.
