One of the springs in my side vent is broken. I cannot find a replacement - looked at LMC, Classic, CPP, everywhere.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement?

I don't have a spare but someone else might. Some of the guys take the side vent off and fill it in to "smooth off" the side of the cab forgetting that the side vent flows a lot of air going down the road. One of them might still have one. All of my spare cabs except the one I am using the cowl off are 51 and later cabs.

is that a certain special spring or can u get a similiar one at a ace hardware or home despot ?

I was going to try there and see what I could find. Didn't know if I was overlooking somewhere or they didn't remake them.

i am sure ya got big hardware stores in the city ( i am from endicott ) or a pep boys that ya can cut down maybe?

My ongoing truck projects: 48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six. 71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant. 77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
