LSX long tubes with early classic motor mounts

Just like the subject says. I'm trying to find out what long tube headers will fit in my truck and not hang below the frame if I'm using early classic motor mounts?

Thank you in advance,

Brandon

Did I ask this question wrong? No one has any idea what long tube headers work well with that conversion?

Try the LSx forum (it's a sub-forum in engine and drivetrain). Lotsa knowledge there. The Doug Thorley's are a known good fit for that setup...

Re: LSX long tubes with early classic motor mounts

I have been looking there. Just thought this would be the right place to ask for our particular year truck.

Re: LSX long tubes with early classic motor mounts

I used the Doug Thorley 324y-c headers with the ECE mounts. Everything worked well, as they tuck up in the frame. The only issue I encountered was with the ECE transmission crossmember. It was a bit too far back in the frame. I had to elongate the holes in the upper portion of the rubber mount to allow it to slide rearward so the I could install the bolts in the lower portion of the mount. Hope this helps.
