Who makes these tail lights, very cool!

I saw these at goodguys last month and wanted to find out who makes them. They might be LED's but what I like is the smooth lense! Any heelp would be great. I need to order all new lenses for LowBuck as I am getting it ready for paint now and want it to look it's best.
Also what other optioons are out their for a clean look?
Thanks for the info!

Re: Who makes these tail lights, very cool!

It looks like that price is just for the bezels and that you would use the factory lenses... Can anybody confirm this?

They are expensive but I think I might have to buy some . I bought some OEM taillight trim but didn't use it because I didn't think it would look right without the rest of the body trim... This might be what I was looking for.

Re: Who makes these tail lights, very cool!

They come with the lense and the price is for all four pieces. Maybe out of the price range many here are willing to spend on their DD's, but if you are building a high end show truck, these are cheap compared to what they cost for a Camaro. Throw in sequential LED's and guys are dropping $600 on billet bezels and LED tail lights for their Camaros as fast as they can make them.

How much of a discount do board supporters get on these pieces?

Re: Who makes these tail lights, very cool!

I agree if you have high $$$ cars and trucks that is not that bad of a price...but...for those with limited budgets (thats what my wife calls it ) this is a little much for us.

Re: Who makes these tail lights, very cool!

Once you see the quality of the pieces you will know why they cost what they do. These are NOT cast and polished pieces. They are true machined billet and the quality shows...

Re: Who makes these tail lights, very cool!

from musclerodz site:
" 1967-72 Chevy GMC Fleetside Billet Tail Light Bezels 112
Billet tail light bezels for 67-72 Fleetside trucks. Mounts in existing lense screw holes. These do not use the factory trim holes and they will need to be welded closed. A must have for a high end show truck."

what does it mean that they need to be "welded closed?"

IMO they aren't a bad price. good design costs $$$.

what they mean by welded shut is that the original taillight trim is not used and you need to weld the holes shut around it just so it doesnt look weird

Re: Who makes these tail lights, very cool!

Kevin,

Did you know that Marquez Design is right behind West Sac PD? Pretty close to you (30 mi). The guys are very cool and they've got that red truck for sale ($40K)

I'm trying to talk them into producing other parts for the truck.

Re: Who makes these tail lights, very cool!

I have a set and they are worth ever penny and when Musclerodz get the LED's made, I will buy those as well. I agree that these are not in the budget of the DD but for a show/weekend warrior you can't beat the bang for buck ratio.

Re: Who makes these tail lights, very cool!

I have seen their products many times... Their fit and finish is awesome! Well worth the $$$$ if you want to be different than most of the other truck you see!

As far as the trim goes I guess with the 67/68 taillight trim you would be ok??

Yes, gotta be welded up....the bezels fit around the perimeter of the tailight and backup light openings.

It might be more accurate to say you have to weld up the holes IF your truck came with TL bezels...If not, they should bolt right in---is that right?

And is this true if you have a 67/68 with factory trim??
