69 C10 Wiring (69 corvette 350 small block)
I am replacing the engine in my 69 c10 with a 69 corvette 350 small block. I am having trouble finding the wiring diagram.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? |

What engine are you replacing? Inline 6? Small block or big block V-8? Was it the original engine that you are pulling out? Are you changing from points to HEI or had it been converted already?

Yes- I got that you installed a small block from your initial post. What was the original engine that you replaced? That will determine which wiring your truck has and how the wires are routed or were routed.

When I bought the truck I was told it was an original engine but when it started coming out it look like it was a mismatch of different part. But I have to assume for sake of argument it was the original engine

Was it a six cylinder or a v8?
We need to know that. |

Re: 69 C10 Wiring (69 corvette 350 small block)
Now we know you’re replacing a small block, it would be nice to know what wiring you have now.
You should have two to the starter, one for the temp sensor, possibly two to the coil and possibly one to the oil pressure switch. Do you want instructions where they go or do you prefer a complicated underhood wiring diagram and then figure it out from there. Pics help a bunch. |
