C10 on Powerblock TV

Anyone watch Powerblock on Spike this morning. They've got a new project truck; 1971 C-10 Cheyenne w/ 454. If you've missed it, I believe its schedule again for tomorrow at 10am. Here's a link for the schedules

Re: C10 on Powerblock TV

Damn, I was hoping this was an announcement for the next episode. I got excited when I saw the first one and hadn't purchased mine yet. I bought my 71 within a month of the original air date and I've been (im)patiently waiting for the next episode ever since.

Re: C10 on Powerblock TV

They almost have too many projects to work on. They have rolling thunder, some yota 4x4, a newish GMC shortbed, AND the C10 now... oh yeah, and Super Dually isn't finished yet.

Yeah, and Super Dually feels like it's been going for two years now... Maybe only one, but I know it's been a long time.

Re: C10 on Powerblock TV

Yeah, I also watched the episode (again) this weekend.

Can't you swap a 700-r4 in place of a turbo 400 just like a 200-4r is the same length as a turbo 350? that would be the first thing i would do.

as for the engine....a Z06 427 would blow the doors off that 454 and might get 20+ mpg on the highway with the right gearing.

i wasn't really thrilled with how they modernized class 6 when it was such a pristine survivor....hoping they keep all that factory bling intact on that C10 instead of the typical chop/drop and just upgrade the drivetrain like they mentioned. it is such a clean driver!
