Original front bumper

I have an original front bumper on my son's 68 that is slightly tweaked and wanted to know what my options are for repair?
Is it better to just buy an after market one?

Re: Original front bumper

If you don't get any good info, I'll give you the number for the company that re-did the bumpers on my 74.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: Original front bumper

If there is a kink in it, take it off and get creative about using a couple of big hammers(one like a dolly behind it, the other to hit with).

Or for a bend in it chain one end to a tree and bend the other end around where you need it etc.

Works best if you have a helper to help hold on to things.

You just might surprise yourself, a budget replacement is $100 so what have you got to loose?
