Question Removing Drip Rails...found rust!!!!!HELP

I started to remove my drip rails and i found that they had a ton of rust under the paint.....what should i do...it looks to me that the roof metal is almost un rusted but the bottom metal is rusted to hell....i need some instructions on how to take care of this problem i need all the information you guys can provide me.....and i need info asap.....thanks.....

If the rust is not to extensive, try por-15 putty. My friend used it and said it is great.

Are you shaving the drip rails, or just removing drip rail stainless trim? If the rust is that bad, you'll have to cut out the rust and fab some patch panels and weld them in. If not too bad, just clean out the old seam sealer out of the gutter and sand blast the rusted areas, Apply Eastwoods Oxysolv to remove as much oxidation as possible, prime with their Rust encapsulator, POR-15 or MasterSeries moisture curing urethane. Re-fill drip rail gutter with a minimal amount of 3M seam sealer, prime and paint. This is the method I have used and I'm sure others will have their own "formula". Hope this helps.
