Long-shot question

I'm just hoping someone knows.

I have a Getrag 360 transmission that I want to bolt up to a Chevy engine. Originally, it bolted to a Cummins.

I know that Chevy uses Getrags, but I don't think they ever used the 360.

Anyone know if a bellhousing from something else will fit the Getrag and make it hook to a 350?

And here's your long-shot answer:

Dodge started putting NV4500s behind Cummins (in '94), and GM also had NV4500s starting in '92. From '92-'94 the GM tranny front case bolt pattern was different than Dodge's, but in '95 all NV4500s began using the Dodge configuration for the front case bolt pattern. SO MAYBE (here's your long shot) if Dodge kept the same tranny-to-bell housing bolt pattern for the NV4500s as they had with the Getrags (and I have NFC) then a 95-up GM bell housing should work with a Getrag. Worth asking someone, I think. Good luck.

Figure anything out? I'm curious if it'll work.
