Green Monster finally gets some love: 71 3/4T

Hey guys. This is my project that is not going the way that I wanted in any way. I had not planned to start it until Septamber because I wanted to do it myself. Due to a very unfortunate incoDENT... it was started early. Being stationed in Japan with it still in the states, makes things a little difficult. But here she is. It was a green on green survivor (very nice too). But due to 6 years in the WA rain and hauling branches and wood, it has come time for some attention. So for now, front clip and bed will come off and get fully repaired. The cab will stay down if luck holds out. We are finding a lot of rust that we did not think was there like inside the rockers and the cab supports. I will do my best to keep the pics coming.

That's what she said. lol
I know it is sacrelige to pay to get it done. I ALWAYS do this myself, but when things dont go as planned sometimes you have to adjust. Oh well, at least I wont be cleaning green dust out of my house for the next 3 years.

For sure. We had no idea that there was that much rust in there. It was all between the inner and outer rocker panels. When you this far into a project, you cant just call it quits. Keep pressing to the end. Just make sure that you inspect as much as humanly possible

No doubt, it will look great. There will be plenty of pics when it is too.

Just had to order 2 front cab supports and front fender hangers. It is a wonder how it did not fall in on itself.
