I would like to contact them by e-mail but i can't seem to find the mail address.
Is there anyone here that knows an e-mail address of them on which i can contact them. I am from Holland an would like to order a bunch of parts. But i like to know first what the total shipping would be. And because my English isn't that good, i rather write it down.

they don't have any email address's... i just called them and they told me very clearly(read:rudely) that they only communicate by phone or fax, so i asked for the fax number stating that a friend of mine has a few things to figure out and they said they wouldn't pay attention to any fax with ?'s. nice!
i will be ordering from them real soon!

You must have got ahold of a office cleaner, when I called @5:37 pm Eastern time the lady was very helpfull and looked up the info for me. I guess the only way to findout is e-mail them using the above listed link

I ordered some stuff Saturday (six cylinder exhaust sytem) and tail light lenses from them. Quick ship (got them today) and one of the lenses came in broken.

I called 1-800-562-8782 and spoke with a lady named Ivory. Real nice, congenial person. She took all of the information and said she would pass it on to shipping/customer service department for a replacement.

Maybe you guys should try the board vendors. Pretty nice group of people, fellow truck enthusiasts and they pay a fee to this board to be a vendor. LMC does not. Those fees help keep this place up and running. They sell all the same stuff LMC does.

I have not had any luck with LMC at all. I don't know how much time you
have put into selecting a vendor for major parts purchases for you truck
but just from personal experience do as many internet searches on vendor
parts as you can before you lay out a lot of money, because when you
get it on the way, you see a website with a part that will just break your
heart because you have already spent money for one thats not as appealing
as the one on the way. I can see the advantage of gettting a lot to save
on shipping but make sure you have a pretty good idea of the overall
direction for you truck so you can hone in on each part selection to
meet that need, changing you mind to switch paths is really expensive.
I mean this as a help not a lecture and I hope you will forgive me if
you have already thought of all this. Please take the time to check out
Brothers website as they have a live chat area on their website that
you can type in questions and get you questions answered right then.
Also Early Classic Enterprises has is a quality parts supplier. You will
probably need several vendors you can depend on as just one want have
everything you need.

@ jgrh64, Thanks for calling them to ask their mail address for me. I will give it a try and ask about the shipping.

@ cg, I haven't thought of that, tonight i am going to take a look.

@ pocoloco71, Every tip is welcome, although i have thought of that. Most of the time i look for a few different shops that sell most of the parts that i need, and ask those what shipping would be. Believe me there are a lot of shops that try to make money out of the shipping it to Holland. I don't think that is the way to serve customers, i also prefer contact by mail because that saves money on calling and its much easier for me to do.

These parts that i need are only to get the truck on the road. In the future i am going to restore/customize it. These parts are also pretty standard parts that can mostly be reused by then.

I just purchased $1300 of large/bulky items through LMC. The free truck shipment over $1000 is a good policy. I have never had any issues with them. I wish I could say the same about some of the other vendors...

It is for a 71 suburban though and not many vendors sell things for suburbans.

I,d say just go to LMC, get registered, order the parts.
They want your money before they send the stuff so they are obligated to tell you what shipping costs are going to be.
After you order parts you will get an E-Mail from them anyways. Then you will have thier address.

I had just ordered a heater control repair kit for my '68 on thursday the 28th, from LMC. I will be expecting it early next week. I do like their customer service.

Yes, there are other companies out there, but like someone had stated earlier, I do shop around, not just for the price, but also for availability, service, freight, etc. I have bought a bunch of motor related stuff from Summit Racing, I have also bought parts from GM Performance Parts.

Shop responsibly. Know exactly what you are after. That is the best advice that I can offer.

Too bad the other vendors don't have the same or similiar detailed catalogs or websites. I might be more inclined to order from them if their sites/catalogs were not so vague and/or confusing.

Price also matters. I do not buy exclusively from LMC, but most of this stuff has its same origins. If the price is right, I shop there.

Until I am wronged by them, I will buy a majority of my stuff there.

The difference we have seen between LMC and Summit is LMC waits til all the parts are together and ship them at once for one price.
Summit on the other hand ships at availability. The last order we got from Summit was split into 2 boxes.
We have to pick up our stuff at customs which is a good 45 Minute drive so we had to drive twice in 3 days. The shipping costs were also more than if they would have waited and sent it at once.

I buy over the counter from LMC. They have a huge warehouse. Practically if not all the stuff in the catalogs is in the warehouse. I have yet to go there & the part was not there.

I have placed an order at gmcpauls truck parts, but i can't seem to get in contact with these guys. Is this normal or did i choose the wrong vendor.

I have a container ready to ship on 23th march, the parts need to be there in time that is why i want to get in contact with him.

But he doesn't answer my e-mail.

Ive done some small things with LMC, but would definitely not do any orders over say 350 or so. Dont know why, but thats the limit.
