restored trim

After reading a thread about how to restore our side trim it got a few ?s bouncing in my head. Hope u guys can help me out. Take whatever u have for a truck and answer this question for me please.

Would u rather buy after market trim (grill headlight bezels side trim etc) or would u rather have ur trim restored or buy original restored trim for atleast the price of what the after market costs
