AC Compressor button switch
In the process of replacing my heater core this past weekend, I managed to break the ac compressor button switch (I found the wires dangling still attached to the terminals). I have a new part, but I don't which side to affix the green wire and which side to affix the yellow wire. Since the button switch seems to merely open and close a circuit, I don't know if it even matters. I used the search function to find many threads on the ac, but not one specific enough to answer this question. Any advise is appreciated.

It's the same wire and you are just breaking the circuit.
