ouchy!

Well a buddy of mine came and gave me a bid on what it would cost to finish the body work on the bed of my truck...Im ok at body work, but these bedsides need a pro. He wants 1500$ to finish the bed. I know its worth it and thats a fair price, but it will be fun for my 17 year old self to come up with that kind of cash.

Maybe you could do the sanding (under his guidance) and get that price knocked down a little bit. Sanding is a major pita an I am sure that any bodywork person would be willing to charge less if he/she did not have to do it.

Btw, based on your sig, you truck must be pretty mean on the street. Any 1/4 times or hp/tq numbers?

The truck has never been started with all of its new mods, the last time it was driven was with a 305, TH400, adn 3:43 gears to a best of 16.43 @ 81. That was with 180 hp. With the new setup it will crank out about 550 hp, so Im looking for 11.90s.
