67 Silver grill inserts

So I gotta ask- is this a stock configuration? I see most guys either color match behind the grills or I've seen them all white to match white headlight bezels. But I rarely see the silver aft the grilles.
What's the story?

Silver or gray I think. JMO
Here is a pic of what I think is a unmolested truck similar in color to yours.

By the way..Nice truck you have there.

This one looks white ('68 model year).

I must say I prefer the silver.

Re: 67 Silver grill inserts

I would guess that the silver might be a plant specific since most I have seen are black, I'm guessing it is an argent silver. It would be a cool detail to paint that color if you were running stock color rallyes'

Mine is all white as well. Someday I hope to replace all the white on my truck with chrome.

Re: 67 Silver grill inserts

Looks like maybe the ones that had chrome were silver & the ones with white trim had white inserts? Mine were silver, and yes it's argent silver.
