Re: Check out these headlights

I like the lights, but the other body mods have seriously fubar'ed the body lines. Looks like a wet noodle draped over a spoon. The look would come off better, if that ridge line was flatter.

Man - that is EXACTLY what I was thinking.

The lines are totally whacked up.

I don't think the color helps much either - but hey, that's just me.

Re: Check out these headlights

That is a pretty damned nice truck. I like how they shaved and molded the front clip together (fenders, etc.). I do not like the angle chop on the hood - I think it looks great to angle chop the roof, but if you notice, they completely redesigned the rear end of the cab...so you wouldn't be able to tell if it was angle chopped or not I think the lack of slope in the roof is what makes the hood look wrong like that.

The lights are cool. Curious what they came off of. Look like they're off a Dodge/Chrysler vehicle. Any info on the shop that is building this truck, or the name of the truck?

Re: Check out these headlights

I like the lights and the bare metal is slick. But I agree that the lines are all wrong.

You have to put some serious hours to pull off the bare metal though. Lot of work for sure, I just don't like the lines.

I think it is "done". It's the same shop that did these:

I have to say they did a better job on the first pair, but props to them for trying something new.

I know that the mid-60's truck that Jimmydean posted has been painted, I haven't seen the late-60's one.

I need to invite them over and get a little help with the tail light modifications on my suburban. I would give anything if it came out that smooth. Oh well, that's why they make bondo .

Yeah I have to agree with everybody elses comments on the metal work. They get an A+++ for the skill and patients it took to do that. But I also agree it , that the lines don't flow very well.
