engine

I am needing some help with the adjustment of the roller heads I have?do they adjust same as regular heads seems like I have a rumble in the engine and a bit of a back fire at start up and idle until engine warms up!

I am not sure what you mean by "roller heads". Are you adjusting the roller lifters? It should be the same as non roller lifters. It sounds like you might have them adjusted too tight...

hyd cam be it roller or flat tappet , you adjust the lash/preload the same way..
only difference is if you have rooler rockers the stocker has an ovaled nut(lock nut)
and the rollers have polylocks.. that you set then tight'n the lock nut..

loosen one at a time, while spinning the push rod tighten the rocker. once you feel some drag on the pushrod, turn the nut(ploy if roller rocker) 3/4 of a turn more and lock it down. do all of them ..
if solid cam it's totally different
