Leafs to coils help

I've done some searches and found a few threads showing the truck arm suspension upgrades but no info on the difference, if any, of the leaf spring frame and the coil spring frame. I have a shortened long box (short box) and want to change my leaf spring suspension to coils and truck arms. I was thinking of doing the CPP kit but not sure if it will fit. I guess what I'm asking is are the leaf spring frames the same as the coil spring frames? I would assume they are but you know what happens when you assume. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
