There might be a scammer trolling our forums...

To the mods: Please put this in the appropriate place. I wasn't exactly sure where to put it.

Just the other day, a member of this forum had pictures of his truck in a Craig's List ad that wasn't his. Today, a friend of mine sent me this.......
http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/1497543171.html

There was a thread just the other day with a picture of this truck in it and I'm sure it's a members truck, but there is NO WAY that truck is going for $3,000. I just wanted to post this up so everyone is aware of this scam......

It says he's selling the body, frame, & interior... and keeping the powertrain & suspension. Still looks like an awfully good deal at $3K.

That sounds like a smoking deal if the sheet metal is half as nice as it looks!

Yes, it is even better than 1/2 as nice as it looks

I'm surpised someone hasn't bought it yet. If you figured your time @ $10 an hour, you would have that much in just building the cab. If I could afford it, it would be in my yard.

If you have an issue with a post or poster please use the report post function. It's the little yield like sign (triangle) to the right of the Online/Offline indicator.

Re: There might be a scammer trolling our forums...

Ok, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to raise a fuss. With what happened the other day with Cochise's truck I just didn't want anyone here to get caught up in a scam. My apologies to the truck owner. Maybe this will help him sell it faster, LOL!
