Just so you know

I don't have a truck right now, sold my 51 a yr or so ago. Right now I'm building a street rod, 51 Dodge 3 window business coupe that a real good friend gave me. I'll have another truck though. Anyway, I belong to a lot of forums, check them out every night. This forum here has the best people, has a ton more going on and is the most informative than ANY out there. You ask a question, 10 people respond, and there is no bashing just good info. I spend more time on here than anywhere trying to keep up with all the builds. Almost forgot, there is some comedy on here too. Thanks for a great forum.

Re: Just so you know

Sounds like a plan. A lot of us have gone through phases of no running truck, not working on the truck or no truck and it isn't a crime or the end of the world. It does give one time to plan and even pick up a piece for the future project once in a while when a bargain shows up that fits perfectly in the plans for the next truck project.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: Just so you know

You are absolutely correct, these guys have had been the best during my build. Although my build is taking forever and when I started my build would stay on the page for weeks, now it is on the second page within days. But that is a good thing because more trucks are being rebuilt and saved. someday I will be finished, Good luck with your new project.

Re: Just so you know

I'd like to find a early, 72 back, just to fix up to drive back and forth to work, get parts etc. Yrs ago I had a 69, it was on a 79 frame, 305, 600 holley, headers. Got low 20's in mileage. Wouldn't have to be a show truck.
