What stages did you use with the Transgo Shiftkit? Do you like how it shifts?

I like mine and went to the harder side on the shifts in the different stage modifications. I should have started small and then went bigger. I knew what I wanted and didn't want to have to pull the VB again with the trans in the truck.

I think I need to pull the governor and see what it looks like. Very light throttle and its in 3rd at 25mph. Transmission was supposedly rebuilt but Im not real sure. It was stock in a van with a 305 the 350 I have will crush anything the 305 had ever dreamed of in power. Any gripes I have had, have lead to the transmissions cheap rebuild (if it did have one) or just a worn stock th400.

Its pretty nice to be able to chirp pretty hard going into 2nd gear. I like Transgo a lot so far and will get another one.

Truck still on the lift, but trying shift kit at #2 level and have spoken to the TransGo people who are making some suggestions, drilling out a hair more to fine tune the setting, etc.

Hoping we have guessed right, will know soon. Either way I will post results. TransGo people are very helpful and know what they are talking about.
