Re: Pic.'s of the Hawgs

Yes, they are on Bart's, 12'' wide and they measure 38.5'' tall on these rims with the weight on them.
And yes, it will smoke them!
(350sb, 360hp; 410ft.-lbs. of torque,
10:1 comp. ratio and a 4 speed)

I built it in 2001 and I've only put 380 miles on it since then.

If I was going to build a 4x4, those would be the tires. I have always thought they were the coolest of the mudders!

Re: Pic.'s of the Hawgs

Years ago i had a set of 11-15 hawgs on my stock height k-10. I think they were 32" tall. They were 6-ply. I had to solder wheel weights on top of wheel weights in order to get enough weight in one spot for them to balance. And they still bumped at certian speeds. They would suck you over to the shoulder of the road too.
They look bad ass. Do you have any balance problems?

Those tires really fit the look of the 67-72 4wd! Very nice.

How about some stats regarding your lift?

Re: Pic.'s of the Hawgs

OLDCHEV4x4 I've never balanced them.
I've had 40'' Ground Hawgs before on a 79 Chevy 4x4 and never balanced them either and put a bunch of miles on them.
Prior to putting the 40's on the 69, I had 35'' Ground Hawgs on it and never balanced those either.
I've never had luck balancing a large off road tire so I just don't balance them and I think they ride pretty smooth for their size.

Yukon Jack, I have a 4'' Rancho lift with a 3'' body lift and I added two extra leafs to the front and rear springs which gives it 8'' of lift.

heavy71chevy, I paid $1239.00 with shipping from Tyres International. I didn't compare then with other brand because I've always gotten a lot of milage out of the Hawgs.
