Just picked up a cool 56 rig.

Gonna be building my 1st 56. I'll get some more of this patina to show then clear it. I'd like to go smoothies, and white walls. Today I also picked up a Camaro subframe, and a inline 6 250. Next wk I'll c notch it and burn the subframe in. Then I'll 4 link and bag it. Get it low and slow! Lol I need all the dash parts cluster, knobs etc.. I also picked up a gmc front clip that I'm going to put on this Chevy bc I like it better. I rough fit the front bumper and the doors today.

I don't get the patina thing but the project ideas are sweet......well, I might struggle with the "slow" part. Much better "canvas" than lots of us have started with.

Re: Just picked up a cool 56 rig.

Got somemore parts today for it. Camaro subframe and 250 engine. The patina is what I'm liking at the moment. I've had a few great looking cars and just recently finished up a rat rod with twin turbo cummins 12v and it get more attention than my 68 Hemijoe dart that win molar if the year in power block mag. I could have easily did a LS or sbc but everyone has that.

That Cummins powered rig is pretty cool! - Though I'm not one to take chances with radical designs, those who do are the ones who usually show the way towards fresh thinking & new ideas...
