88 Square with Dana vs Saginaw Rear end.
Okay I've got an 88 square body one ton, it has a 10 bolt rear end with 4:10 rear end gears. I believe it's a Dana 70 rather than the Saginaw but I'm not positive. I've heard GM experimented in 88 with some but I'm wanting to change to 3:42 or 3:73 gears and not sure which to hunt. Any suggestions on Id'ing? Thanks, Pete

That's a Dana 70. I'm sure you wouldn't have an issue finding a ring and pinion for it.
