Prayers needed!

I just recieved some horrible news.

Two of my freinds just got into an accident. One of them is no longer with us.The other one is in critical condition.

They where driving a 72 lwb that had been in the family for years.I feel so bad.My I worked with corey.(The one that passed away)For a long time and had become pretty good freinds. He was a senior in high school played football and had a band.

The driver had just got his liscense.I know that truck had a pretty fast 327 in it.I know what truck was really fast.I also know the roads they where driving on and I know in the rain with a fast 72 truck you don't drive fast.

I ask for your prayers.I am pretty close to this family and I would really like alot of people to pray for them.

Sorry to hear . I hope the other person makes it through okay. yall will be in our prayers.
Thats the only thing bad about fast cars and trucks when your young you dont understand how fast they can take your life if you dont respect them and use them in the right manner such as going to the strip and sticking close to the speed limit on the roads.
My son wants my 72 ss nova when he turns 16 . I dont thinks so may be a 4cyl car but not a hot rod to drive . He will one day get it but he is going to learn the does and dont first and when hes 25 he might get it but until then I have 20 more years to teach.

Ctenkid-
What is your friend name that is in critical condition? I like to think that if I pray, and I have a name, that God listens all that much better. God bless him and his family. Hang in there yourself too.

im not religiouos person but ill keep good thoguhts for all involved. this poor soul did not die in vain if just one of your kids remembers this before they get in their truck ( or car) and try to drive in a manner unsuitable for road conditions. You can nevr bring your buddy back but you can best preserve his memory by driving safely!

It really bites loosing friends at that age!! I lost one 2 months after graduation to a head on by a drunk. Another a year later to suicide. Many since to other crashes, and medical problems. The immediate pain will diminish with time, but keep them alive in your memory forever, and learn from this. Your family doesn't want to know this pain first hand either.

Thanks for the replies.

I just got back from the hospital.Andy(the driver is going to be alright they said.)(His name is andy wilson by the way.)I am worried about him though.I know he is going to have alot of guilt.Corey was a good freind to everyone he met.I can't remember a time when he wasn't in a good mood.

I lost my dad last december.I don't understand death.I don't guess anyone ever expects it.This one tottally caught me off gaurd. Both times it has though.

As far as first cars and hotrods.I am driving a cavalier right now.I feel better with myself doing so to.My 69 was running pretty good.I have a problem.I love speed.I plan on taking it somewhere safer.

Thanks for all the prayers.

Hey c-tenkid, I know what you are going through. I lost 2 good friends a few years ago in a crash. Plus I just got in from watching them pull another buddie's truck out of a ditch. It's always hard when a friend passes...
