Let's see, I have to pick up the wife from the airport in Charlotte at 9 PM. I could sneak over to the bank, get up to Clifton forge in 2 hours and have it home by 6. That still gives me 3 hours to get to Charlotte. After a 24 hour trip in airplanes and airports back from New Zealand seeing her sick 90 year old Mother, I should be in divorce court by Wednesday!
Seriously, that truck hats a lot of potential, someone will be lucky to get it at that price.

Does this have the old x frame or is it the same as a 64-66 with coil spring front or is it torsion?

pretty sure it has torsion bars.not sure about X frame willing to bet its not.

Torsion bar, no x frame. Wondering what condition the frame is in given how much salt VA uses in winter.

I saw a '60-'62 C30 that had coil springs up front. It was supposed to be original too.

my 61gmc 4000 had an x frame, and a torsionbar front suspension.

That is a good deal and still has the factory 18" wheels on it. I have a 61 one ton and a 64 one ton duallys and the 61 has the torsion bars. I was actually working on both of them today.

I saw the ad on craigslist on Saturday, and drove 3 hrs to take a look on Sunday. It is, without a doubt, the most solid untouched cab I've seen in this generation.

I had my mind set on a half ton, but I could not let this one go.

Not the setup i wanted as a driver, with the 5.14 rear, and the 235 with a 3 speed, but i can work through all of that. 45000 original miles.

She's a looker with that quad headlight front end!

I'll post pics when i get it home.
