I was recommended here , I am a member now I listed my truck for sale and apperantly I need to suscride to sell.

the question is is it worth it ? does the site have enough traffic

Re: for sale on this board

I am not sure where else you will find this many people interested in that era of truck in one place. No guarantee it will sell, but for $15 you can get a 6 month subscription and find out.
Once you subscribe you can list it for sale and also ask for advice on what to do to it so you can get your asking price.

We have 130,000+ members that like chevy trucks.
Can't tell you what to do,... but you do have to become a subscribing member to post a for sale thread/ad.

Re: for sale on this board

click on forums above and just look down the list until you see trucks for sale and the year group that you belong to and put your add in. another one of the things that you are not supposed to do here is ask what it is worth.
as a rule of thumb if you are not getting any bites at the price that you were asking does tell a story that perhaps the price is inflated or that there is a very slim market for trucks of this type at that price and that it should be pretty exceptional
just remember selling your truck is just like fishing; the more hooks that you put out, the more bites that you should get.
good luck
everyone here is waiting for pictures; as they need their daily fix.

Re: for sale on this board

IMO it is impossible to sell a truck for what a guy has into it especially these days. As an example, there is a local guy that had a one of a kind, very nice '72 4x4 that he started out at $60K. He finally sold it for $29K over a year later.

Re: for sale on this board

Subscribing only to sell is possibly not the best way to expect results.

People will pay what they think ots worth to them, not to you.

I sold a car 18 months ago for £3k when I expected £2k but it was very good and the seller saw what he wanted in it.

I would buy off the for sale board on here, so do not see your market as limited to the USA only.

The internet makes the world a very small place.

If your truck is worth the asking price in a buyers mind, it will sell.

The subscriptions are a small price to pay.

How many magazines do you buy for £15.00 and what proportion of $$$$ of the selling price is it.
