Nice pair! Take a gander!

An ebay seller in Augusta has two 72 Cheyenne Super swb pickups for sale. They're pretty sweet! Anyone care to guess what they'll go for or which one will bring more? I'm partial to the yellow except fot it being a leaf spring truck, but hey, who cares right! Warning: Auctions have tons of pics and will more than likely not be dial up friendly.

I think they are the same truck just photoshopped black.

Just kidding. Very sharp. I'd take either one.

NOT what I had in mind when I saw "Nice Pair"...

But pretty sweet nonetheless. I think I like the Black/White one better.

Great.. I was expecting something completely different. However, they are nice trucks.

Re: Nice pair! Take a gander!

I would guess the black and white one will go more just because it's black. But im not sure. I like the black and white one, specially since it has glass packs! lol

Re: Nice pair! Take a gander!

Looking at both of those trucks just helped me decided all the multi color and trim is just too busy. Give me a white/green/white/green with no trip and I'm OK but the two strips and the tailgate cover, etc etc, just look too much. Do I have one that nice, NO, would I if I had the $$$ YES!! But I still don't like the trip nothing against these trucks though. Gotta Go BLACK!!

Re: Nice pair! Take a gander!

I think I just haven't seen a lot of black trucks with a white roof and the white stripe down the side. It seems like all the Cheyenne Supers you see that are black are all black. The tailgate strip doesn't bother me.....Of course I'm running one on my K10. If I was going to change anything on either truck it would be to ditch the bumper guards and the rear sliding glass. Nobody wants to go out on a limb and take a guess at what they'll get up to? Better yet, will the reserve be met?

Re: Nice pair! Take a gander!

I'll say 14,500 on th black one and 18,500 on the yellow and no the reserve will not be met.

Re: Nice pair! Take a gander!

I like the yellow one but think the Black is prettier.I just don't care for yellow on very many vehicles.I don't think either will reach the reserve. The ad staes they are a dealer, they are trying to get top dollar and probably set the reserve very high and are testing the waters to see what they will bring.

Re: Nice pair! Take a gander!

They are both gorgeous trucks. I would drive one over a new one, I think. The only thing I would change is those radios - I would probably want an original looking AM-FM in there, and maybe the bucket seats for comfort. One other little thing - they are not restored, they are rebuilt, with new parts. So the quality in a good portion of the cosmetics will only be as good as the repro company that made them, and I'm not sure if some stuff will hold up as well as it did from the factory. But I think I would definitely take one of those trucks.

I was wondering that. How long will it be rust free? Say, stored in a temperature controlled enviroment as a vehicle of this caliber would justify. How good is the sheet metal? Just wondering and not really looking for speculation since I likely won't be the new owner of either of these awesome trucks.

Thumbs up Re: Nice pair! Take a gander!

i looked at the yellow/ white one and it looks awesome. i would love to own it if i had an extra bucket full of money. for that kind of money it should at least have a super tailgate handle cover though. still a super sweet looking truck.

Those are two nice trucks that are probably boing to sell for every penny they are worth. However, I still prefer to build my own. My way.
