help with brake light wiring

The wiring is all hacked up for my rear brake lights. Can anyone help me with the colors and what they do? I am trying to get it all working for now so I can drive it. I need to figure out the brake lights, tail lights, blinkers, back up lights, and license plate light. I looked at that colored wiring diagram but it looks like it's only engine and cab wiring. Thanks for any help.

Re: help with brake light wiring

Check this thread in the FAQs---http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=185665

Scroll down to the bottom of post two, and you'll see a wiring diagram of the tail lights, brake lights and the backup lights.

The dark brown wire is the tail lights, the yellow wire is the left hand turn and brake light. The dark green wire is the right hand turn and brake light and the light green wires are the backup lights. HTH
