Is this a deal or what?

I got 5 brand new wheels with brand new BF GOODRICH T/A Radial Tires off a 2004 Hummer H2 delivered for 675.00 I priced the tires alone at a tire dealer over 800.00.The Center caps will not be used as the hubs will be there. I am going to paint the rear hubs and brake drums before I install them. These are going to look sweet on my 71 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4. Here is the pic:

Better Pic

Here is a better pic. I think these will look very nice on my truck. I am going to refinish the stock wheels and powder coat them. I have the full set of factory wheel covers for the stockers also. They will go back on when it is time to be a trailer queen, but in the meantime these are going to be real nice and I just could not beat the price expecially with the full wheel spare~! I may be able to get more sets if anyone is interested.

Nice find, I usually run that brand of tires.

Like the way they handle.

What size of tires does a stock hummer run? Are they 17 inch. You are right, a set of 16 inch bfg's usually will cost over 800 when you pay for mounting and balancing.

Nice Find

Here is the story: I went and priced 4 Cooper A/T tires mounted and balanced and they were just over 600.00. Then I remembered I looked up 8 lug wheels on a search engine about 1.5 years ago and found the Hummer 2 wheels and tires were being removed for the low profile tires with 20" chrome rims. They looked way cool and were selling for around 1200.00 - 1300.00 back then for the full set which cost over 3k at the Hummer dealer. I looked up Hummer Wheels on e-bay and now there were quite a few more and much less money. I called a few that were out there trying to get a full set and a full wheel spare. No one would go under 740.00 for the 5 + 175.00 for shipping. One guy at a Hummer dealer had a set of 4 and I ask can I get another one for 75.00 and he said 500.00 plus 175.00 shipping. I about fell over. He said there is more where that came from and they pull them every day off of brand new never driven H2's as soon as they get off the transport carrier. I should see them this week I will let you all know how this transaction works. I hope it is a good as it seems. The wheels are: 17" the tires are: 315/70/17 BFG A/T Load D so they are almost 35" tall and 10.5" of tread width and back spacing I believe is 5.5". I will take more accurate measures when they get here.

I have bought several things from Truck and RV Supply's E-bay store. They have great deals on wheels, tires, seats and well just about evrything else they sell plus they are great to deal with. Apparently they are a truck and van conversion shop.

So this means your going to keep the Red Rocket? I remember not too long ago you were entertaining the idea of selling her.
Those will look sweet. Post some pics when you get them on.
