starter adjustment
I started mocking up my clutch and flywheel so I can order the throw out bearing. The starter only engages about 1/2 way. I thought I needed 2/3's. Does anyone know if there is internal shims or is this enough? Thank you for your time.

Re: starter adjustment
I'm going to ruin your day because I am going to say thow that piece of junk in the dumpster and get a real starter.
You can check the HAMB, or any other hot rod or super car board and the number one reason for starter issues is those aftermarket gear reduction universal fit starters. There must be 50 thread on the Hamb on them over the past 10 years and guys never learn and keep buying them.
